Creepy dollhouse takes center stage in new movie!

It stars Rebecca Hall, Dominic West and Imelda Staunton, and is already showing in the US.
Set in post World War One England, The Awakening is a sophisticated psychological supernatural thriller.
According to Movie Insider, haunted by the recent death of her fiance, the lead character Florence is approached to investigate the recent death of a student at the all-boys boarding school. When students report sightings of the young boy’s ghost, she decides to take on the case.
One of the scenes shows her peering into the creepy dolls’ house, seeing room which may just reflect the house she’s in. Perhaps the dolls represent real people? There are certainly some dark secrets inside! And what’s that doll of a little boy standing behind a doll which could be Florence?
Globe and Mail reviewer Johanna Schneller writes: “The scene inside is blandly sweet-looking. But I bet you the price of admission that you’ll gasp, because of what it means.”
