Frida Kahlo dollhouse
August 7th, 2012When Elsa Mora decided to introduce her daughter to the wonderful artist Frida Kahlo, she didn’t resort to anything as obvious as showing her pictures of paintings.
Instead Elsa spent several months making a dollhouse in the shape of Frida Kahlo’s studio and including lots of objects and accessories that relate to the artist’s work.
The result of all Elsa’s hard work is a highly colourful and detailed dollhouse, complete with miniature replicas of Frida’s paintings and even a doll that bears an uncanny resemblance to the artist herself.
Take a look at the pictures of Elsa’s creation on the Apartment Therapy website and we think you’ll agree that her daughter is a very lucky girl to have such a beautiful dollhouse to play with.
