An addiction that nobody wants to get away from
February 28th, 2013Folk often say that dollhouse collecting is an addiction!
This little news story from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette just goes to show how true that is!
It’s a tale of two dollhouse and miniatures traders and some of their customers.
Some customers will spend thousands of dollars on their miniature homes, although most collectors keep it a low-cost pastime by buying older dollhouses to refurbish from internet sites or flea markets.
As Plum Miniatures owner Terri Hirt says: “There is no time to stop collecting. It’s just like a real house. It’s never finished.”
